Overview

APA's team is growing! We are excited to welcome Melanie Garza as our Director of Business Development and Cara Von Deylen as our West Coast Business Development Manager. Be sure to reach out to them to learn more about our new product lines.

APA is proud say 2017 was a record year and we expect 2018 to surpass it by quite a bit. In addition to our sales team, we have brought on additional capacity, equipment, and management to service new and current customers. We will be launching new products this year and invite you to visit us at the solar shows to take a peek.

Melanie Garza

Melanie Garza and Cara Von Deylen

Melanie reports directly to the CEO on business development and marketing strategy, structure and process. She is responsible for leading the sales team, business development processes and project launches. She manages a portfolio of strategic accounts in the Midwest and develops partnerships with industry leaders across the country.

Melanie was formerly the director of strategy & growth for COACT Associates, a B2B full business growth agency. She has 15 years experience working with engineering companies and specialty contractors across the U.S.

Cara Von Deylen

Cara is APA's West Coast Business Development Manager. Prior to APA, Cara worked for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Ohio where she helped with fundraising, marketing, scheduling and holding client interviews.

Cara also worked as an assistant manager for a large nationwide toy company where she enjoyed daily interaction with employees and customers. Wanting to move in a new direction, Cara transitioned into the APA family to help start a prepanelization facility in Fresno, CA. With a large portfolio of commercial and agricultural projects, she was in charge of the office, staffing and other HR work while the projects were being constructed.

Once the portfolio of projects was complete and the prepanelization facility moved to APA’s next projects, she decided to take some time and focus on her growing family. After a few years off, Cara has rejoined the APA team and is excited to help build APA’s sales portfolio.
